Moving a large quantity of material over a long distance using a wheelbarrow can quickly become tiresome. The Barrow trike bridges the gap between a wheelbarrow and small dumper truck.
The tipper body is kept low to the ground to enable easy loading and good stability on rough ground. Mounted on two heavy duty bearings, the tipper body easily pivots forward to discharge its load. Two stabiliser legs are fitted to the front of the Barrow frame to keep the trike level when unloading.
A spring loaded steel pin locks the body in the horizontal position when on the move and is released by pulling and twisting the pin into the unlocked position.
The Barrow Trike can be used to transport loose material (such as gravel and compost), liquids and slurries, through to packages, bricks or plants. The polypropylene body provides a tough hard-wearing surface that is easy to clean.
As each Barrow trike is custom made to order, you are welcome to request modifications to suit your requirements. These might include;
-Holders for yard brushes, spades, litter grabbers, etc
-A rear rack for refuse bags, first aid kit, personal items, etc
