UK Cargo Bike Delivery & Ordering Information

At The Cargo Bike Company, every cargo bike and trike is fabricated to order. The current leadtime is kept up to date at the top of the website. We will confirm a specific estimated completion date upon processing your deposit.

Ordering Your Custom or Standard Cargo Bike

We offer two straightforward ways to secure your new trike or bike:

1. Standard Bike & Trike Orders

For standard models, simply select your required options on the product page and place your order through the online shop. We will then send you an invoice for the mandatory 20% deposit. Once paid, your build will be scheduled into our fabrication queue.

2. Custom Cargo Bike Orders

If you require a bespoke design, please email us with details of your needs. It is helpful to include a couple of photos or sketches of your concept. We will then provide a full, no-obligation quotation. Once the specification and price are agreed upon, payment will be requested, and a dedicated custom fabrication slot will be booked.

Payment: We accept payment via BACS transfer, PayPal, cheque, or cash. Please email us for details if you wish to use these methods.

Cargo Bike Delivery & Shipping Costs

We provide reliable cargo bike shipping services across the UK and welcome international orders.

Mainland UK Delivery

Our tricycles are delivered by ourselves or occasionally via our contract with Palletways.

• Shipping Cost: The cost of cargo bike delivery within the mainland UK is calculated automatically when you enter your postcode in the shopping basket, allowing you to view the price before committing to a purchase.

Bulk Shipping: If you wish to order more than one bike, please contact us first for a potential discount on shipping for bulk deliveries.

We also welcome self-collection from our workshop in Derby, UK, if you have a suitable trailer or van.

International Cargo Bike Shipping & Non-Mainland UK

We welcome customers from outside the UK Mainland and have experience delivering to locations worldwide.

Outside UK Mainland & Europe: Please email us before ordering to discuss the best trike delivery option. Due to their size, shipping large trikes internationally based on a volume rate can be expensive.
