With its large platform, the Wheelchair Bike Trailer can carry most types of wheelchairs with ease.
The passenger remains securely in their own wheelchair with no time consuming or uncomfortable transferring required. By facing forward, the passenger can freely communicate with the rider and other family members when cycling.
An integral stability leg lifts the front of the trailer to form a loading ramp at the rear. The wheelchair can the be simple pushed on to the trailer deck and secured with four tie down straps.
Each trailer is custom built to the users requirements. Additional variations can include spoke guards, greater ground clearance for off road cycling, off road tyres, mudguards, balloon ‘suspension’ tyres, etc…
As a disability product, this trailer is exempt from VAT if used by a disabled person. Please contact me for a “VAT exemption” form.
If you are not disabled, VAT is added to the price at the rate of 20%
